Material characteristics
Soy protein isolate is a nearly purified protein extracted from soybeans through a series of processing steps. Soy protein isolate contains eight essential amino acids, which are similar to meat, fish, eggs, and milk, and are full-price proteins. Studies have shown that protein is the material basis of life and one of the three major components of the human body. The lack of protein will directly lead to growth retardation, weakened immunity, loose skin and premature aging. Among the many plant-based proteins, legume protein (also known as soy protein) has the highest nutritional value, and legume food does not contain cholesterol, which is a feature that animal food does not have. Soy protein without any processing has its drawbacks: the content of methionine (an essential amino acid) is relatively small. Therefore, the amino acid score of the whole soybean is approximately 0.6 to 0.7. However, because of the high protein content of soybeans and no cholesterol, soybean protein powder is widely used.
Production Process
